Guided Tours of the Hidden Valley Trails in Monteverde during the day.
The Hidden Valley forest in Monteverde offers an outstanding probability of finding the animals and birds that you are eager to see. Birds such as the toucans, clorophonias, bell-birds, black guans, blue-crowned mot mot, and emerald toucanettes are just some of the many birds that are usually seen on the tour. Occasionally we find the world famous resplendent quetzal here as well. Also at the Hidden Valley trails monkeys, agoutis, coatis and sloths as well as other animals are usually sighted on this guided day tour.
Our guided tour lasts about 2 hours, usually longer, and is conducted by an experienced
naturalist guide who knows the habits of the animals and birds here. The wildlife
can be spotted more easily with our knowledgeable and experienced naturalist guides.
The cost of the guided tour is $20 per person which includes entrance fees to the Hidden Valley Forest and transportation there and back from most Monteverde area hotels.
