Night Tours at the Montana Trails in Monteverde
As the sun sets and the stars start to appear in the sky we begin to hear and see different fauna in the tropical forest. This tour offers the possibility to see a wide variety of nocturnal creatures. The walk starts at 5:30 P.M. and ends at 7:30 P.M. The photos on this page show the possible encounters while on the Montana Night Tour.
The Montana Night Tour trail is found at an elevation slightly lower than the Cloud Forest Reserve. At this elevation the trees are slightly shorter and more open making the forest creatures more visible and more abundant.
Join us on this tour as we search for mammals, reptiles, amphibians, insects and other surprises.
The cost of the guided tour is US$17 per person including, guide, entrance fees and round trip transportation from most Monteverde area hotels.
