Hello Monteverde Homestay!
I wanted to thank so much for such a great experience. I will never
forget my time in Monteverde and living with my host family. In two
weeks I felt like on of the locals. The food was muy muy rico! I
already miss their homemade tamales and gallo pinto, not to mention all
of the delicious fresh fruit. They were such wonderful hosts, teaching
me some useful phrases like 'pura vida,' answering my many many
questions about their lives and home, and generally just making me feel
welcome and happy.
I am still dreaming about the beautiful cloud forests and our excursion
to the San Luis waterfall. What an amazing experience. I have never
seen so many shades of green or felt so much life and energy around me!
And I certainly enjoyed the horse trekking to the falls. I felt like a
true caballero. Please give my horse a nice pat and an apple for me. I
will definitely tell my friends all about it. Thank you again!!!

Subject: That place called Monteverde...
Monteverde home stay,
To all that have ever thought about travelling to
Latin America, be sure to visit Costa Rica and that
wonderful place called Monteverde. My time spent
5,000 feet above sea level in the cloud forest were
some of the greatest experiences I have ever had. I
can only thank my home stay family for the comfort and
welcomeness they provided. Not to mention the food
was great and the houses were nestled into the
mountain between a few, giant fig trees that create
quite a sereal, "green" experience. I only dream
about my return to Monteverde to tell stories with
some of the friendliest people I have ever met, hike
through some of the most prestine rainforests in the
world, and relax in the comfort of a nice home, while
catching a few amazing home-cooked meals. Thank you
Monteverde Homestay.
